Rocket Typing is a tool that lets you save hundreds of keyboard shortcut commands that automatically write common phrases. There is no need for specialized knowledge. Just delimit the characters (space, tabulation, enter), and it also isn`t necessary to change your habits when writing on the keyboard.
Rocket Typing includes some tricks to detect abbreviations (you don`t need to record them). You can also insert welcomes and signatures, type special characters without having to go to a special characters window, respond to work emails in an image capture, etc.
And programmers can get a lot out of it too, as you can make templates, independently of the editor you use.
